I’m walking through a season of grief as I mourn the loss of my mom. Many family members and friends have offered their sympathy. Those supporting hands of comfort lift my spirits. In return I offer thanks for my blessings.
Insulating my heart from the deep sting of death is the truth of my living Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He overcame sin and death through the power of His resurrection. The grave could not hold Him—He now lives forever (Romans 6:9).
Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift (2 Corinthians 9:15).
