Jesus, You lived in this world and experienced troubles daily,
Like all of humanity.
But You desired relationship with Heavenly Father,
And through prayer and time alone with Him,
He daily strengthened you.
Lord, I desire a personal relationship with you,
Help me to confidently trust in your authority.
Give me an undivided heart, focused eyes, and open ears
To hear and obey your words of truth.

Through your death and resurrection,
You overcame the things of this world.
You triumphed over tribulations.
You destroyed the deadly d’s of distress.
You conquered worldly temptations.
Now Lord God, give me courage as your worshipping warrior
To abide in your mighty Word,
And encourage those who are stressed with worldly woes.
Strengthen me with your compassionate comfort.
Sustain me when I express your gift to others.
Unite us with perseverance in your power, love, and wisdom,
May our praises be offered in your holy name with one accord.
As our worship increases,
No matter if we perceive clouds hide your presence,
Help us know, without doubting, you are nearby.
Allow your authentic peace to radiate in our hearts.
