The Lord’s Prayer---it’s the prayer that Jesus taught His disciples and it’s the prayer said every Sunday in our traditional churches. This prayer is not rambling prose. It is a prayer that gets to the heart of the matter and covers all bases. And it contains our “war cry”.............................

God’s kingdom is full of love; earth needs that love. Since the beginning of time, Satan has controlled earth because man/woman gave up the dominion given to them by God. But Satan is only Satan and God is God, the all-powerful One. The authority of God was given to Jesus who, in turn, gives it to us. So when your need overflows from your heart, cry out with Jesus, our intercessor.... Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven!
At times when our need is extreme, we become paralyzed and mute. We let fears confine our thoughts until distress and anxiety capture us. Sometimes all we can whisper is JESUS. But the power of that name can move us forward to cry out to Him, shouting Jesus’ words back to Him from Matt. 6:10. As Christ’s power begins to fill our souls, we can stand firm in the knowledge of His Word. Then God’s strength will empower us to put on the armor of God and STAND. Together we MPs will raise our voices saying, “STAND FIRM.”
The armor of God is detailed in Ephesians 6 (NJKV) and the first command is: “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.” Then we’re told in verse 11: Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Four times we are told to stand and the command “stand” encloses the six times the word against appears. Think of it as a sandwich---all that rises against us is squeezed between standing in the power of God’s might. We can “cut off” our fears by standing firm. God advises us to stand firm all throughout Scripture. Let His words liberate you to withstand Satan’s crafty ploys.
Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 (NIV)
You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the LORD will give you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the LORD will be with you.’” 2 Chronicles 20:17 (NIV)

If we fight the good fight (1 Timothy 6:11-12) of faith and remain steadfast, then the marks of our ministry will radiate the glory of God. Read what Paul says about this in 2 Corinthians 6:1-10 (NKJV):
