Disputes, debt, divorce, destruction, death—the devil is in the details of all that can destroy us! But we must stand firm on the promises of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who conquers all, even death! Allow His peace, which passes all understanding, to fill your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

People are hurting all over the world; you don’t have to look far to see that people need the Lord. This post is different from the others posts, but I hope you allow it to minister to your needs today.

From “sayings” to poems to Scripture and song, let Jesus turn your disbelief and disgrace into His grace and belief! May God’s peace envelope you and your situation today!

Sorrow looks back,
Worry looks around,
Faith looks ahead.     (from a plaque in a coffee shop)

To look within is to be depressed,
To look around is to be distressed,
To look up is to be blessed.      -----anonymous

From Doubt to Devotion
by Deborah Crawford

Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 2 Corinthians 12:8-9 (NIV)

Deep within darkness looms chaos and disbelief.
Burdens won't budge with mounting weight of grief.
Difficulties cause desperation to seek relief.
Where do I turn for my strength?

Doubt becomes heavy with tremendous despair.
Does anyone anywhere even give a care?
Destruction causes devastation to seek repair.
Where can I go to find strength?

If I plead, who will lead?
I can’t cope, where’s my hope?
I am pleading, who is leading?
There’s no coping, no point in hoping!

Decision looks within, without—something is wrong.
Deliberating daily on how to be strong.
Diligence dares to shout with a song.
God is the strength of my life!

Declaration becomes louder, shouting out His grace.
Developing discipline, walking His perfect pace.
Devotion turns delightful when seeking His face.
Jesus is the answer, He’s my strength!
